Apply today to take advantage of this amazing opportunity for personal and professional growth in our team atmosphere that offers an excellent benefit package!DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Social Services Aide 1, you will function in an entry level position, working closely with caseworkers and other social service aides to provide services in the home to families with children after a caseworker has visited and determined services are approved. This is an excellent opportunity to provide one-on-one assistance and communicate with families to work toward positive goals and outcomes. Work involves providing assistance in all areas of family life including household budgeting, in-home parenting education, proper hygiene, nutrition, cooking /food shopping skills, and maintenance of the home. You may also be required to transport consumers to supervised visitation and necessary appointments. Additional responsibilities include:

• Providing child care when necessary
• Assisting with completion of applications and forms
• Completing written reports of each appointment with consumers
• Participating in meetings with other staff to develop treatment plans and set goals for consumers
• Attending court and testifying

Please be advised this position may require frequent standing, climbing steps, and walking distances as a normal part of the job duties, as well as climbing flights of steps in homes and apartment buildings where no elevators are present.Our ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines while also paying close attention to details under a constantly changing work environment.Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
• This position requires possible travel with overnight stays as well as possible after-hour appointments for supervised visitation and transportation.
• Telework:You will not have the option to telework in this position.
• Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:
