Description: Boyne City Public Schools is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Elementary Art Teacher to inspire and engage our students for the 2025-2026 school year. We are looking for an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about fostering well balanced art-related skills, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning in kindergarten to 4th-grade learners.About the Role: As an Elementary Art Teacher, you will report directly to the Elementary Principal and play a crucial role in shaping the personal growth of our students. You will be responsible for creating a vibrant and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels empowered to learn and succeed.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop engaging, research-based Arts instruction aligned with the State of Michigan benchmarks.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies that promote high levels of student engagement and a positive, productive learning atmosphere.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs and ability levels of all students within the same classroom.
• Seamlessly integrate technology into daily lessons to enhance learning experiences and outcomes.
• Collaborate actively and effectively with other specials teachers and grade-level teams to achieve individual classroom, building, and district-wide educational goals.
• Contribute positively to the school community, potentially through coaching, advising, or supporting extracurricular activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Required: An active Michigan Teaching Certificate with an LX Art Education endorsement.
• Desired: Additional teaching endorsements are a plus.
• Demonstrated experience and a proven track record of success working with elementary-aged students.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators.
• A strong team player with a positive attitude, a sense of humor, and a genuine willingness to contribute to a collaborative professional learning community.
