Description: Hill Country Elementary School is seeking an energetic and knowledgeable EC-6 Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.HCE is a Title I, PK-5 campus with an enrollment of 450+ students.
Bandera ISD is a 4-Day Instructional District (Mon-Thurs.)
Grade level assignments will be based upon experience and skill sets.Start Date: 07/28/2025Requirements:
– Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
– Texas Teaching License and appropriate endorsements for the grade levels and subjects taught
– ESL certification (Preferred)Additional Information:
– Team planning with colleagues to ensure high quality instruction and assessment
– Develop, modify and prepare curricula to ensure high quality instruction based upon student abilities and skill levels
– Provide classroom instruction to whole groups, small groups, and individuals
– Demonstrate the effective use of technology to enhance instruction and support student interest and growth
– Design assessment tasks that allow students to demonstrate understanding in a variety of ways.
– Collect and analyze student data to drive instruction
– Collaborate with students, parents, and other members of staff, and provide meaningful feedback
– Communicate necessary information and student progress regularly to students, colleagues, and parents
– Work cohesively with the campus staff in a self-contained atmosphere
– Work cooperatively with Special Education teachers to modify curricula, and instruct and assess Special Education students in the regular classroom
– Participate in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs)
– Participate in staff development activities and improve job-related skills
