Location: Los Angeles, CADirect Counsel is representing an AmLaw 100 firm seeking a high-performing Associate with 3–4 years of experience to join its dynamic and fast-paced Employment Practice Group in the Los Angeles office . This is a tremendous opportunity for a motivated attorney who is thriving in a high-performance environment, preferably at a top AmLaw firm, and is looking to continue building a career in employment law litigation and counseling at the highest level.The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about employment law, maintains a rigorous work ethic, and consistently strives for excellence in a collaborative, high-caliber setting.Key Responsibilities:· Represent clients in complex employment matters including:o Wage-and-hour class actionso PAGA representative actionso Single-plaintiff litigation involving discrimination, harassment, and retaliation· Advise clients on employment policies and compliance· Support litigation strategy, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation· Contribute to a fast-paced and demanding practice group with a commitment to exceptional client serviceJob Requirements:· 3–4 years of employment litigation and counseling experience in California· Experience in wage-and-hour class actions, PAGA actions, and single-plaintiff employment matters required· Non-compete/trade secret and traditional labor law experience a plus· Excellent legal writing, analytical, and communication skills· Strong academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school· Admission to the California Bar is requiredCompensation:
