Description: Employment Law Partner – PAGA LitigationFull-Time | Hybrid or Remote
Salary Range: $230,000 – $300,000 annually + quarterly bonus opportunitiesOverview:A nationally recognized law firm is seeking an Employment Law Partner with 8+ years of experience, including substantial expertise in Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) litigation. This is a leadership role for a seasoned employment defense attorney ready to oversee complex cases, mentor legal teams, and drive strategic initiatives.This role is available in the following California cities:
El Segundo, Fresno, Oakland, Ontario, Orange, Redding, Sacramento, San Diego, San Jose, and Westlake Village. Remote arrangements within California will also be considered.Key ResponsibilitiesPAGA Litigation & StrategyLead and manage complex PAGA and class action-style litigationOversee legal filings, hearings, and settlement negotiationsManage discovery, including witness depositions and trial preparationDevelop and implement case strategies that balance risk and costCompliance & Client AdvisoryCounsel clients on California labor laws and compliance issuesProvide guidance on wage & hour, classification, and break policiesMonitor legal developments and advise clients accordinglyClient DevelopmentBuild and maintain strong client relationshipsIdentify new business opportunities in employment lawDeliver presentations and client trainings on litigation and compliance topicsLeadership & MentorshipSupervise junior attorneys and paralegalsProvide strategic input and review legal work productFoster a collaborative and growth-focused team environmentQualifications8+ years of experience in employment defense litigationStrong understanding of PAGA and class action litigationExcellent writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skillsJD from an accredited law schoolActive member of the California State Bar in good standingPublic entity defense experience is a plusBenefitsCompetitive salary with quarterly bonus potentialUnlimited Paid Time Off (UPTO) for attorneys70 credit hours for vacation (eligible attorneys)Remote work flexibility or access to premium office locationsMedical, Dental, Vision, and Pet InsuranceFirm-paid Life Insurance and 11 paid holidays401(k) with employer match after 1 yearFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Cell phone reimbursementAccelerated partnership trackTraining and development programsTeam events, snacks, casual dress codePowered by JazzHR
