Position Summary:We are seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Estate Planning and Elder Law to become an integral part of our growing team. You will work closely with the Managing Partner and a talented group of attorneys and paralegals, handling a range of matters from estate planning and Medicaid applications to litigation and guardianship. A client-first mindset and an interest in long-term professional development within the firm are essential. Attorneys with a portable book of business are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities:Draft Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Health Care Directives, and related documentsAdvise on tax strategies, Medicaid eligibility, and asset protection plansAdminister estates and trusts, including fiduciary accounting and court filingsPrepare and file Estate and Inheritance Tax ReturnsManage Medicaid spend-downs, applications, and represent clients in fair hearingsAdvocate for elderly clients in various care settingsHandle litigation related to wills, trusts, and guardianship mattersSupervise paralegals on estate and elder law casesMaintain accurate case files and billing using CLIO case management softwareRepresent the firm in CLE courses, networking events, and bar association activities Qualifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law schoolLicensed to practice in New JerseyMinimum 3 years of experience in estate planning and elder lawStrong legal drafting, research, and communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and CLIO (or similar case management software)Highly organized and able to manage multiple prioritiesDemonstrated empathy, professionalism, and commitment to client service
