Description: Location: Hackensack, NJ (Bergen County) | Hybrid Work EnvironmentExperience Level: 3+ YearsOur client, a growing and well-respected law firm, is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join its Northern New Jersey office. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-impact family law matters within a collaborative, client-focused team.About the Role:
The attorney will represent clients across a range of domestic relations matters, including separation and divorce, custody and parenting disputes, spousal and child support, equitable distribution of marital assets, and related litigation. The ideal candidate will have strong advocacy and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to manage cases independently or collaboratively.Key Responsibilities:Handle all aspects of family law cases, from intake to resolutionDraft and respond to discovery, prepare and argue motions, and participate in settlement negotiationsRepresent clients in court proceedings and mediationsMaintain client relationships with empathy, discretion, and professionalismCollaborate with colleagues and staff across the firm to ensure high-quality legal serviceQualifications:Minimum 3 years of experience in family law practiceLicensed to practice in New Jersey (New York bar admission is a plus)Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skillsProven ability to manage cases efficiently, either independently or as part of a teamMust be able to work from the firm’s Hackensack office several days per weekWhy Join This Firm:Supportive, collegial team environmentOpportunities for continued legal training and professional developmentCompetitive compensation and benefits packageClear paths for growth within the firm

Salary: $130000 – 200000 per year
