SPECIFIC DUTIES:This position works closely with the Operations & Management Consultant Manager (Land Manager) and Senior Acquisition Review Agent in the management of approximately 90 land leases for the Department’s correctional institutions.Duties of the position include:

• Preparation and submittals of land use plans
• Compile’s data and makes updates to the FL-SOLARIS – Real Property Inventory database
• Reviews and reconciles the Department’s facilities data from multiple sources
• Creates and maintains complex spreadsheets and reports, research real property records using internal and external sources
• Learn and utilizes ESRI ArcGIS software in production and editing of electronic and hard-copy map products
• Research real property records regarding land and building tax assessed values
• Reviews and processed invoices from counties, municipalities and special districts for non-ad-valorem assessments and fees associated with Department sites
• Completes other special projects as assigned

• A high school diploma or its equivalent and six (6) years professional work experience. A bachelor’s degree can substitute year for year, up to 4 years of experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience related to real estate, public land acquisition or land management, GIS mapping programs, or real property leases.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
