Description: Job Description:This position will be for the 2025-2026 school year.Position: Field Tech 2Reports to: Information Technology SupervisorContract Length: 240 daysSalary: Based On Classified Salary ScheduleSummaryUnder direct supervision, installs, maintains, tests, and repairs computer hardware and software. Utilizes technical knowledge to support CSD technology initiatives and provides Tier 2 IT support to the CSD community. Resolves routine and advanced technical problems.Qualifications of Employment

• Associate degree in an IT-related field of study or four year’s experience in a applicable IT environment preferred.

• Basic IT certification by an industry recognized certification authority is required or at the discretion of the Technology Director.

• Knowledge of hardware and software applications

• Systems knowledge of Active Directory/Azure/DHCP/DNS/SCCM/Intune is desirable.

Operating system knowledge (Windows, MacOS, ChromeOS)Troubleshooting and multi-tasking skillsEssential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides Tier 2 contact and problem resolution to faculty issues.

• Properly escalates unresolved issues to the next level of support.

• Tracks, routes, and redirects problems to correct resources.

• Follows up with faculty, providing feedback and ensuring problem resolution.

• Ensures proper recording, documentation, and closure.

• Recommends procedure modifications or improvements.

Other duties as assigned.
