Showcase your talents while supporting an agency which strives to ensure the protection of children from the damaging effects of abuse and neglect, to facilitate services within the community, and to empower families to provide for their children in a safe environment and enable them to reach their full potential!DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Fiscal Technician, you will conduct advanced clerical accounting work involving the application of bookkeeping principles and practices. This professional performs advanced bookkeeping duties in recording, reviewing, processing, and controlling financial records and documents. Specific duties include preparing and processing payroll and monitoring employee leave time, completing data entry into state and county databases, and developing various charts, reports, and spreadsheets. You will also prepare and process invoices for awarded grants, assist with the annual state and county budget preparations, and perform additional duties as assigned.Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Overtime as needed.
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
• Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• One year as a Fiscal Assistant; or
• Three years of work involving the maintenance of fiscal or financial records, including one year of responsible work which involves the application of accounting or fiscal principles and practices; and graduation from high school; or
• One year of experience in maintaining and reviewing fiscal records and an associate degree in accounting or business administration; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
