This is a great opportunity to utilize your knowledge of food safety and food preparation to help people in your community!DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Food Service Worker 2, you will prepare ingredients and cook food items in bulk quantities according to menu specifications. Your duties will include following recipes, preparing modified diets, ordering supplies, ensuring proper food requisition and preparation, and ensuring compliance with recipes alongside the Cook. The role also involves instructing volunteers, packaging bulk food items, maintaining food temperatures, operating kitchen equipment, cleaning dishes, maintaining sanitation standards, participating in tray line activities, and performing related tasks as needed. You will also have the opportunity to attending training sessions to enhance your skills. Our ideal candidate will have knowledge of modern methods of food preparation, service, and sanitation. • Full-time employment
• Work hours are 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
• Employee may have irregular hours, including evenings, weekends or holidays.
• Employee may have overnight travel or out of county travel for meetings or training.
• Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS
