If you believe in business as the greatest platform for change and in companies doing well and doing good – you’ve come to the right place.The Front End Developer role would be part of Salesforce’s Digital Marketing Technology group to help build the features that drive experiences for website visitors in Salesforce’s digital ecosystem.The focus also would to drive innovation of our digital experiences globally, leveraging best-in-class technology and systems.This role encompasses architecture, design, implementation, and testing to ensure we build products right and release them with high quality. You will be working with a group of world-class engineers to build the breakthrough features our customers will love, adopt and use while keeping our trusted platform stable and scalable.The successful candidate will have:Proven experience within the marketing technologies domain, with focus on areas like content management, classification and taxonomy, Customer Identity experiencesTrack record of delivering transformative solutions across complex platform ecosystems.Key Responsibilities:Design and build innovative solutions for the website platform, creating engaging experiences for visitors and customers exploring the Salesforce ecosystemDevelop scalable frontend components and systems using modern web standards (HTML5, ES6+, CSS3) and component-based architecturesDrive technical excellence by mastering and continuously improving our development processes, culture, and codebaseLead frontend architecture decisions and ensure code quality through design reviews and collaborative engineering practicesCollaborate cross-functionally with engineers, product managers, UX designers, and performance engineers to deliver customer-focused features while maintaining platform stability and scalabilityMentor and guide team members on frontend technologies, development practices, and engineering excellencePresent and defend technical designs to stakeholders and provide constructive feedback on others’ architectural proposalsChampion quality through comprehensive testing strategies, automation frameworks, and performance optimizationQualificationsRequired:6+ years of production frontend development experience on large-scale, complex web applicationsExpert-level proficiency with modern HTML5, JavaScript (ES6+), CSS3, and TypeScriptStrong React experience (Angular, Vue, Ember also considered)Modern build toolchain expertise – Vite, Webpack, Rollup, esbuild, npm/YarnMobile-first responsive design and cross-browser compatibility experienceWeb performance optimization and security best practices knowledgeComponent architecture understanding – MVC patterns, design systems, web componentsTesting expertise – Test Driven Development, Jest, Playwright, Cucumber, and frontend testing methodologiesStrong communication skills for technical documentation and cross-team collaborationA related technical degree requiredPreferred:Design system experience – building and scaling component libraries from scratchIdentity and authentication systems experience – OAuth, SAML, SSO, user management, security protocolsAccessibility champion – WCAG compliance and inclusive design implementationInternationalization/localization implementation experienceAccommodationsIf you require assistance due to a disability applying for open positions please submit a request via this .Posting StatementSalesforce is an equal opportunity employer and maintains a policy of non-discrimination with all employees and applicants for employment.
