Responsibilities:Essential FunctionsPrepare monthly financial statementsPrepare budgets and forecast business activityRecord revenue according to GAAPPerform cash reconciliationsPerform account reconciliations and prepare adjusting journal entriesAssist other departments by researching discrepancies and provide timely feedbackPrepare and file various tax compliance returns for sales, use, and otherPerform other tasks as neededKnowledge and Critical Skills/Expertise:Possess and apply comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and practicesExcellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills for a dynamic and fast-paced environmentStrong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills with ability to work alone or as part of a team Qualifications:Required Experience:BA/BS in Accounting or FinanceMinimum of five (5) years accounting experience plus three (3) years construction accounting requiredPreferred Experience:Knowledge of Sage 300 experienceAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Outlook, and Word
