Our mission is to support districts in providing a safe learning environment for students and educators. The primary goal of the office: Prevention, Intervention, and Emergency Preparedness Planning.The Office was created by the Florida Legislature after the February 14,2018, school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.
