UC’s annual budget stands at $1.85 billion, and its endowment totals nearly $1.8 billion.Job OverviewThe Hamilton County Clerk of Courts Help Center (Help Center) is a collaboration between the Hamilton County Clerk of Courts and the University of Cincinnati College of Law. The Help Center provides self-represented litigants with information and limited legal advice to help them better advocate for themselves in the court system. This position is an expansion of the services currently offered by providing information and limited legal advice to Help Center visitors at the Domestic Relations Court at 800 Broadway. Although this position will focus on domestic relations court cases, the successful candidate may also be called upon to assist in additional areas of law serviced by the Hamilton County Help Center, including juvenile court custody, municipal court civil issues, and limited common pleas and court of appeals issues.Essential Functions
Required EducationJuris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited US law schoolRequired Trainings/CertificationsActive license to practice law in Ohio, or currently licensed in another state and eligible for admission to Ohio without examination.Required ExperienceMinimum of two years of experience practicing law with focus on domestic relations issues.Additional Qualifications Considered
