The person in this position is expected to plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program for an educational environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. They must demonstrate preparation and skill in working with students from diverse cultural, economic and ability backgrounds. They will participate in professional activities as well as extracurricular and/or academic support activities. This position is part of the special education team and reports to the special education coordinator.Education and Experience Requirements:

This position requires the performance of light work. The position involves sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing and light lifting.
