Description: Overview:We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as Home Health Scheduler. Desirable candidates will have strong relationship building and communication skills, as well as experience in the Home Health industry. Responsibilities:

  • Understands and adheres to establish the agencies policies and procedures.
  • Creates and maintains staff schedules.
  • Provides staffing for sick leave, vacations, FMLA leave.
  • Enters scheduling data, creates schedules.
  • Contacts clinicians and clients regarding day to day changes.
  • Discerns client services required as outlined in agreements, urgent requests and care plans.
  • Enters staff and client information into database.
  • Maintains staff and client database
  • Maintains staff and client statistics, and reports.
  • Performs general office duties

Qualifications:

  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
  • Prior Scheduling experience preferred.
  • Computer skills including but not limited to MS Office, MS Excel and Wellsky.
  • Basic Medical Terminology.
  • Interpersonal, organizational and communications skills.
  • Exceptional multitasking skills
  • Ability to carry out directions, read and write.
  • Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
  • Must have working knowledge of home health care industry
