  • Identify the most effective and efficient recruitment sources.
  • Conduct employer brand advertising with target associations, universities and other entities.
  • Develop an annual recruitment strategy to meet management’s needs for mission critical occupations throughout the organization.
  • Analyze data to project the number, timing, and skills mixes of anticipated vacancies.
  • Develop, modify, evaluate and monitor execution of human resources practices and procedures as they relate to DoDEA recruitment and workforce transitions programs.
  • Respond to Congressional and other departmental inquires on human resources issues.

RequirementsConditions of Employment

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes identifying recruitment sources, recruiting qualified candidates for vacancies, developing human resources practices and procedures, and analyzing data such as, organizational changes, history and/or military force structures to project vacancies. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).EducationSome federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone–no substitution of education for experience is permitted.Additional information
