Description: $2,500 sign-on bonus after the first 90 days!About the role:The Infant Teacher is responsible for providing high-quality, developmentally appropriate care and learning experiences for infants aged 6 weeks to 18 months. At Clayton, we believe that a great place to work isn’t just about the job but the people who create success together.What we want you to do:Provide responsive and nurturing care to infants aged 6 weeks to 18 monthsMaintain a safe, warm, and stimulating classroom environmentDevelop individualized care routines that support infants’ physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growthCollaborate with co-teachers to implement developmentally appropriate activitiesSupport strong family partnerships through daily communication and relationship-buildingMaintain accurate documentation of feeding, diapering, sleeping, and developmental milestonesAdhere to all licensing and program standards, including Head Start/Early Head Start and EducareSanitize toys, materials, and classroom spaces according to health and safety protocolsSupport Conscious Discipline practices in age-appropriate waysPerform other duties as assigned to ensure high-quality infant care and learningWhat you must have:Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, CDA infant/toddler focused requiredInfant/Toddler coursework or certification strongly preferredMinimum of 2 years of experience working with infants in a licensed early childhood settingExperience with Head Start or Early Head Start programs preferredMust meet all state licensing requirements, including background check and medical clearancePediatric CPR/First Aid certification preferred or must be obtained upon hireAbility to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and safely move infantsRegular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the jobThe perks:$2,500 sign-on bonus after 90 days16+ paid company holidaysSpring Break and Winter Break – up to 10 paid days offAccrued vacation time (starting at 10 days/year, up to 30 with tenure)Paid sick timeMedical, vision, and dental insurance coverageLife and AD&D insuranceMental health support through our medical plan and EAPLong-term disability coverage401(k) with 5% employer match after 1 yearFSA plansCollege 529 investment optionsIdentity theft protection and moreCompensation:$20.00–$22.00 per hourClayton’s Core Values:At Clayton Early Learning, we believe that our core values help to drive actions and create habits that allow our belief in the unlimited potential of young children to become a reality.
