Txs BTingMON 1:30pm ESTDial in by phoneInformation Architect (Business/Systems Analysis, SOA,UML, Requirements) III (Contractor) (Open)Contractor Work Location: PAP35 – PA – Philadelphia, 1800Arch StThis Role will support both CBG and CB UCAAS products andsolutions. Understand vision document/ SRD and partner with business andDevelopment teams to identify feasible solutions and Services that meet thebusiness need. Document architectural solution. Help platform teams withgrooming and ensuring the solution is delivered to production environment voidof any solution gaps.Architecture documents for new requirementsProvide value adds and innovationsSuport production issuesThe Information Architect will be responsible forinterfacing with business units to understand their needs, working with variousarchitecture and development teams to create a solution to the business needutilizing application and services infrastructure, and then working withimpacted development and testing team(s) to ensure successful delivery of theproposed solution. Projects will include working with business needs for Video,High Speed Data, Digital Voice and other emerging technologies. The successfulcandidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal,and a background in architecture and business/system analysis. Provenexperience in requirements gathering techniques, use case definition,architecture diagramming, sequence diagrams, test planning/execution and systemrequirement analysis. The Information Architect will produce, describe andpresent technical design artifacts, include UML diagrams, particularly classdiagrams, sequence diagrams & deployment diagrams.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Work with business to identify ROI of proposedchanges/enhancements to systemsPartner with Architecture and Development teams toidentify feasible solutions and Services that meet the business needDocument requirements, use cases, architecture diagrams,and sequence diagramsConduct user interviews, JAD sessions, and other forumsto define and capture requirements and design of the solutionCollaborate with application development and test teamsto ensure that use cases and system requirements are understood and actionableUtilize requirements management tools to maintaintraceability between requirements, design elements, and development workPresent solutions to business requesters, architects,development and testing teamsProven ability to successfully handle multiple projectsat one time and drive successful outcome with little supervisionResponds to demands created by diverse tasks, complicatedassignments and/or fluctuating volume of assignments by putting in time andeffort necessary to complete the workAbility to produce the desired result in accordance withspecified standards and department metricsCompletes work assignments accurately and withoutsubstantive errorsAssures that all aspects of each work assignment arepresent and properly organizedAssumes responsibility for quality assurance of their ownworkOwns the project and problem resolutionMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:College/University graduate or equivalent experience6-8 years of experience writing IT requirements anddesigns in a complex work environment within a structured software developmentmethodology.Proficiency in documenting Use Cases, Requirements,Activity Diagrams and Sequence Diagrams in a technical environmentExperience conducting JAD/RAD/AGILE /Waterfall scrumsessionsUnderstanding of SOA and experience writing requirementsin a SOA environmentStrong analytical, critical thinking and problem solvingskillsAdvanced proficiency with use of Microsoft Officeapplications including, Word, MS Project, Excel and Visio and other tools thatfacilitate the requirements gathering and design phases of the SDLCAbility to work and deliver under the pressure ofdeadlines and commitments to the customerDemonstrates professionalism in all areas of workProficient at time management and meeting deadlines andflexible with changing prioritiesADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:BA/BS or Associate degree in Computer Science or relatedfieldExperience in cable and/or telecommunicationsExperience writing code as a software developerPosition Comments:This Role will support both CBG and CB UCAAS products andsolutions.Preferred skills
