Description: C+P Architects is seeking to hire an Intermediate Architect/Designer for a full time position at a small full service architectural design firm specializing in high-end residential custom homes and commercial TI projects.Expectations:Professional degree in architecture, plus at least 6 years of related experience. Participates in the planning, design, and coordination of high-quality custom single-family residential and commercial projects. Candidates work independently and apply advanced architectural concepts and designs.Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate both experience and comfort level jumping into a project at any phase. The role will include the following specific responsibilities and will expand with experience.Collaborating with and assisting the project team throughout all phases of the project lifecycle, from schematic design through construction administration. Responsibilities will include:

• Field observation and surveying
• Design and planning
• Coordination of team members and delegation of responsibilities
• Client and Consultant communication; represent the firm with professionalism and clarity
• Strong technical documentation skills and well-developed design sensibility
• Review and coordinate consultant drawings for consistency with architectural design intent
• Document Coordination
• Construction Detailing
• General knowledge of building code(s). Familiarity with local zoning regulations is a plus.
• Construction administration experience, including:

• Responding to RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings
• Attending site meetings and inspections
• Punchlist and closeout

• Strong ability to problem-solve design challenges and communicate solutions effectively to both design and construction teams
• Quality Control (including review of all engineering and shop drawings to ensure compliance)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
• 6+ years of experience in architectural design
• Expert proficiency in AutoCAD; REVIT a plus
• Must have experience in Microsoft Office, BluBeam Revu, and Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator)
• Experience in Sketchup, Rhino, Grasshopper, and Enscape
• Strong written, spoken, and graphic communication skills
• Proactive, collaborative and positive
• Detail oriented, highly organized, and efficient
• Capable of working at a fast pace on multiple projects
• Relationship management skills
• Strong time management skills with experience in project scheduling and work planning.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and follow through

Salary: $75000 – 85000 per year
