Description: ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:The Summer Internship Program will build a foundation for early career talent and form future professionals at the organization. The internship program at TelevisaUnivision allows participants to obtain real on the job experiences in their areas of interest and specialty. People at TU work smart and have fun!YOUR DAY TO DAY:The law clerk will provide valuable support to attorneys specializing in diverse areas such as Corporate Law, Litigation, Labor & Employment, Privacy & Cybersecurity, Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, Entertainment, and Content Distribution, among others. Their responsibilities will encompass:Analyzing and researching law sources, preparing legal documents, such as briefs, memoranda, contracts, and other legal documentsReviewing consulting services contracts, teaming agreements, nondisclosure agreements, and subcontractsMeet with the clients and chiefs to discuss potential problems or further details needed for contract negotiations and/or projectsCollaborate with vendors, subcontractors, and business partners to discuss implementation requirementsPrepare executive level presentations for the General CounselReview and analyze RFPs and contractsWork closely with the Deputy General Counsel and Assistant General Counsel on special projectsDraft contractual memoranda and lettersTranslate business requirements into system requirements for key technology platforms used within the LPI department and perform other duties as neededYOU HAVE:Actively pursuing a law degree at an accredited law school.Overall GPA minimum 3.0 or above.Strong oral and written communication skills.Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, eDocs, SharePoint, Outlook, Workshare Compare, Westlaw, Lexis. Legal research proficiency.Bilingual (English/Spanish), preferredParticipation in prior internships, extracurricular activities, community organizations and/or professional associations, preferred.Must have unlimited work authorization in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.Univision is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
