Description: SUBTILA has an immediate opening for a junior architect to join our Los Angeles office.Candidates should have 2-3+ years of relevant professional experience and an architectural degree. We are looking for a strong designer whose interests mirror our own. Someone confident with communication – in the studio designing – as well as with collaborators, contractors, and clients.Strong organization skills a must, as position will be working on multiple projects locally and abroad, in various phases of completion.Experience with local permitting and CA is preferred. Residential experience a plus, but position will also be working on cultural, retail, hospitality, and industrial projects.Compensation based on experience.Subtila is a Los-Angeles based design practice interested in the subtlety, ambiguity, nuance, tension, and details found in the history, lineage, and context of our projects.We enjoy working at all scales, from residential interventions and commercial developments to editorial projects.Please send resume + portfolios to
