Description: We are a well-established and dynamic law firm, seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Law and Business Litigation Associate Attorney to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a talented group of professionals in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor and employment law, as well as business litigation experience.Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in all aspects of labor and employment law, including discrimination, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, harassment, and compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Handle complex business litigation matters, including breach of contract, business torts, and disputes involving intellectual property, trade secrets, and shareholder agreements.
- Advise clients on best practices for managing workplace policies, employee relations, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement agreements, and contracts.
- Conduct legal research and provide sound legal advice to clients regarding employment law matters and commercial disputes.
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediation, arbitration, and courtroom proceedings.
- Maintain and develop client relationships while managing a full caseload efficiently.
- Collaborate with colleagues and partners on complex legal matters, providing insight and expertise across practice areas.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in NJ.
- 4-7 years of experience in Labor & Employment Law and Business Litigation.
- Strong understanding of federal and state labor laws, employment regulations, and litigation procedures.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex cases and prioritize effectively.
- Client-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.
