Apply for this exciting opportunity today!DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Labor Law Investigator, you will be responsible for receiving and screening complaints. This involves conducting timely detailed interviews (phone or in person) of claimants and business owners. Work includes conducting audits of payroll records, timecards and related materials, requesting documents and pertinent information from employees, employers, and invested parties to ensure a thorough and accurate investigation. This position travels to business locations for investigation and audit tasks. Effective communication with employers, employees, and supervisors concerning current investigation status is essential. You will be expected to maintain detailed, timely reports of investigation progress. In this vital investigative role, you will facilitate conferences with claimants and employers, when appropriate. You will have the opportunity to educate contractors, organizations, employees, and public officials of the requirements of the laws and of recent legal decisions affecting the application of such laws.Other duties to include but not limited to:
