Our client’s firm seeks a driven and bilingual leader to spearhead our Intake Department, serving as the gateway for prospective clients and ensuring seamless intake operations from first contact through case onboarding.About the Role:
As the Intake Department Lead, you’ll be the cornerstone of our client experience and case screening process. You’ll oversee and optimize every facet of the intake pipeline, from initial inquiry to retained client, while setting the bar for efficiency, empathy, and ethical practice. Leading a small but mighty team, you’ll establish best practices, drive performance outcomes, and serve as a strategic partner to our attorneys.Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, mentor, and inspire the intake team to meet department goals with excellence.
  • Conduct detailed case screenings, assess case viability, and provide clear, actionable summaries for attorney review.
  • Oversee all intake logistics: scheduling, documentation, calendaring, follow-ups, and internal referrals.
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys, meeting regularly to provide updates, exchange insights, and refine intake strategy.
  • Guide potential cases from lead to retention, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected and evaluated.
  • Coordinate external case referrals when appropriate and manage communication with leads and clients throughout.
  • Maintain a well-organized and current intake database for internal use and reporting.
  • Analyze department performance metrics and develop recommendations to improve efficiency and client conversion.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, and high performance.

Who You Are:

  • A bilingual (Spanish/English) professional who connects well with clients and builds trust quickly. (Required)
  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree required; JD is highly preferred
  • Preferably a licensed attorney in California, or an intake/legal operations leader with demonstrated experience.
  • Experienced in leading teams and developing staff through training and performance management.
  • Empathetic yet analytical, balancing compassion with critical thinking and sound judgment.
  • Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and motivated by streamlined processes and tangible results.
  • Tech-savvy and confident with Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Someone who thrives in a dynamic environment takes the initiative and is driven to elevate systems and outcomes.

COMPENSATION AND PERKS
This is a full-time, on-site position based in southwestern Los Angeles. The salary range is $85,000-$100,000 DOE, plus bonus, plus a comprehensive benefits package to support your health, growth, and future.HOW TO APPLY:
