Description: Seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join our law firm in Las Vegas, NV, specializing in Plaintiff Personal Injury cases. – The ideal candidate will oversee cases from complaint filing to trial or settlement, with a focus on effective client, professional, and court communication. Responsibilities include document tracking, report generation, and proficiency in legal software systems. The role requires precise record-keeping, document drafting, and adeptness in legal software applications. Join our team as we enhance our Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation division. Responsibilities: Reviewing a number of Plaintiff Personal Injury cases that are in litigation right now to be sure all deadlines, filings, etc. are on track. This is a great team that requires someone who knows how to manage their time, work autonomously, and have excellent communication skills. • Must be able to draft Complaints, Answers, Pleadings, Subpoenas, and Motions. • Research legal issues for brief writing. • Propound and respond to discovery including working directly with the clients to prepare discovery responses for attorney approval. • Diligently manage attorney calendars. • Be proactive in litigation and preemptive to comply with scheduling orders for written discovery, depositions, motions, expert retention, and trial preparation. • Scheduling depositions and assisting with preparing clients for depositions. • Communicate with clients to keep them apprised of their case status. Qualifications: Preferable Experience/Skills: • English necessary. Spanish helpful. • Experience working with Plaintiff Personal Injury Cases. • Ability to self-manage and prioritize tasks. • Multi-task with organized preparation. • Service-oriented, organized, and diligent.
