Description: M&A Associate – New York | Am Law 100 FirmOn-Site | Full-Time | JD RequiredA prestigious Am Law 100 firm is seeking a skilled M&A Associate with a minimum of 4 years of experience in corporate transactions to join its top-tier Corporate Practice Group in New York City.This is a high-impact role handling complex public and private M&A deals, including private equity transactions, for a nationally recognized client base. You’ll work directly with partners and sophisticated clients on strategic transactions, and play a lead role from term sheet to close.What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage M&A transactions from inception through closing
• Draft and negotiate acquisition agreements and related documents
• Supervise due diligence teams and advise on corporate governance
• Collaborate across practice areas and mentor junior associates

Qualifications

• 4+ years of M&A/private equity experience
• Strong working knowledge of deal structuring and documentation
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
• Admission to the New York Bar (or eligible to waive in)
• Strong academic credentials required
