Description: Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a highly motivated Proposal Coordinator to join the firm’s award-winning marketing team in our Richmond, Virginia headquarters. To be successful in this role, you should have five or more years of marketing experience in a proposal role and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Communications or a related field. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects independently.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Lead and coordinate the development of proposals, statements of qualifications (SOQ), and pre-qualification submissions in compliance with RFP/RFQ requirements, including page layout and design, preparing and tracking schedule, preparing outline, theme development, writing non-technical portions, proofreading and formatting technical portions, managing the entire submittal from beginning to submission, and preparing interview materialsWork with internal project managers, technical staff, and marketing staff across the firm to gather content for proposals and marketing initiativesCoordinate with subconsultants and specialized consultantsCreate, update, and maintain marketing collateral materials and content libraries, including but not limited to personnel resumes, project profiles, brochures, project sheets, graphics, and non-technical supporting narrativesWrite, proofread, and edit marketing collateral, presentations, award submissions, and other documentsWork with others in the marketing plan implementation to develop and implement group-level marketing plansOther related marketing duties, as neededSkills/Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related fieldMinimum five years of experience, ideally in an AEC, GIS, or other technology consulting firmAbility to coordinate multiple, simultaneous proposals/projectsStrong project management skillsStrong team skills, yet able to work independentlyStrong Microsoft Word skillsAbility to think creativelyExceptional writing and editing skillsA positive attitudeCanva experience is a plusAdditional InformationThe requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
