Description: Job SummaryJob DescriptionMaster Software Engineer – Web Access ManagementWhat is the Opportunity?The Master Software Engineer is responsible for performing analysis, design, implementation and tier III support for Identity & Access Management services. The position has specific focus on the product tooling from BroadCom – SiteMinder, PingFederate and Okta. You will develop and maintain the integration of RBC’s proprietary products and applications into a managed security framework. This position maintains, extends and enhances business critical services, requiring a high degree of technical ability in security and access based technologies, extensive experience with major operating platforms, and process methodologies.What Will You Do?Designing, configuring, testing, and maintaining our web access system in coordination with the enterprise IAM and security teamPartner with project and application teams on the setup and maintenance of access patterns as well as single sign-on connectionsActs as a Liaison with clients and vendors in the SSO set up processBuild, run and provide subject matter expertise for IAM solutionsCommunicate enterprise standards, best practices, changes in the security landscapes to relevant constituentsGuide and coach the team on best practices and maintaining products supporting secure legacy and modern authentication protocolsCollaborating with enterprise architects, engineers/analysts, solution designers and lead integration efforts to meet business and functional needsCoordinate troubleshooting and extended issues resolution not completed by the application and support teamsStay abreast of trends in the IAM and access management space and help drive adoption of new tools and security conceptsWhat Do You Need to Succeed?Must have5 or more years of technical Identify and Access Management experience. Including hands on experience with security tooling such as SiteMinder and Okta8 or more years of cumulative experience in engineering, development and/or support of IT SystemsExperience with IAM Technologies and Processes (Federated Authentication, Web Single Sign On, SAML/OAuth, OpenID Connect, Web Access Management (WAM), Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)Ability to thrive in an environment with competing priorities and the ability to adjust priority to match business demandsDemonstrate attention to detail, communication proficiency, continuous learning, customer/client focus, developing others, positive attitude, problem solving, relationship building, thoroughness, and time managementNice-to-have:Experience in a matrix environment, such as a large, publicly-traded corporationAbility to facilitate between and influence key decision makersStrategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businessesWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
