Math Teacher Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Math Education, or a related fieldState teaching license for grades 6-12 with a math endorsementCompletion of student teaching or supervised classroom experiencePassing scores on required exams, such as Praxis or state-specific content testsMath Teacher Responsibilities:Deliver rigorous instruction in subjects such as Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and StatisticsDifferentiate lessons to support varied learning styles and academic levels, including advanced and remedial studentsDesign and administer assessments to evaluate student understanding and provide timely, constructive feedbackCollaborate with colleagues on cross-curricular projects and curriculum alignment across grade levelsCommunicate regularly with students, families, and support staff regarding academic progress and classroom expectationsIntegrate real-world applications and technology to enhance mathematical thinking and engagementParticipate in school-wide activities, professional development, and departmental planningARE YOU READY TO JOIN OUR TEAM?If you feel that would be right for this SLP position, please fill out our initial 3-minute, mobile-friendly application so that we can review your information.
