Duration: 6 monthsDuties:Perform a variety of microbiological laboratory experiments, ranging from simple to complex, in collaboration with other technicians and scientists.Collect, evaluate, and present data to support project decisions and inform teams.Continuously seek improvements and innovations in microbiological techniques to enhance efficiency and capabilities within the lab.Assist in the management of the microbiology laboratory, including equipment maintenance, supply ordering, and overall lab upkeep.Expand professional expertise by learning new laboratory techniques, developing specialization in key areas, and actively participating in project discussions and presentations.Maintain an active role in the microbiology community and stay updated on current scientific trends and advancements.Uphold the highest standards of safety and integrity while contributing to the team’s best practices and operating principles.Support knowledge management practices by ensuring standardization and consistency.Build and maintain effective relationships through internal and external networking.Communicate critical findings effectively, both verbally and in writing.Work collaboratively with individuals from diverse disciplines and backgrounds.Skills:Strong knowledge of microbiological testing methods, particularly surface sanitization and disinfection.Proficiency in laboratory techniques such as media preparation, routine testing execution, new test method development and validation, and data analysis.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience:Relevant laboratory experience in microbiology, preferably within an industrial or research setting.Hands-on experience in microbiological testing, method development, and data analysis.Familiarity with laboratory equipment maintenance and supply management.Education:Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related field is required.CTG does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services for this role.To Apply:To be considered, please apply directly to this requisition using the link provided.
