Description: Venture Global LNG (“Venture Global”) is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company’s two Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global’s modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.The PT Architect role who will architect, design,maintain, troubleshoot and provide enhancement for real-time system and OT applications. The position will support and maintain the site’s historian systems and provide technical knowledge and system requirements for projects and equipments. This position is structured within IT under the Vice President of Plant Technology (Production, Operations, Telecom and Security).Position Responsibilities:Key Responsibilities and Essential Duties:

• Build reference architecture for Plant Technology systems
• Provide in-depth insights into strategies for installing, maintaining, organizing, and expanding our real-time capabilities
• Develop system administration guidelines and best practices for all PI services including PI Vision, PI Data Link, PI Analytics, and Asset Framework and other PT applications
• Develop architectural solutions to build Interfaces to collect data from various industrial sources (e.g., SCADA, DCS, PLCs)
• Build monitoring solution to manage performance of the PT systems
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to data collection, storage, or access.
• Assist operations team to perform regular maintenance tasks, such as backups and updates
• Implement security measures to protect sensitive data
• Develop Asset Framework modules and hierarchies with a focus on automation and scalability
• Be given a business problem that lacks detail and figure out how to solve it then execute
• Document scope of projects, coordinate with vendors, perform vendor evaluation and selection, and monitor vendor performance

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field of study
• 10+ years in PI administration, design, architecture and OT applications
• Proficient in PI Vision development, PI Data Link development, Asset Framework hierarchy builds, conditional alerting, and PI Analytics.
• Proficient in integrating data sources with PI Data Archive.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, with strong critical thinking and attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic with ability to effectively prioritize, meet deadlines, adapt to changing priorities and business needs, and succeed in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to efficiently summarize and prioritize information.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in working with IT Infrastructure like VMs, Network,Firewall etc
• Experience in SQL.
• Familiarity with transferring PI data to Azure Data Lake.
• Strong technical writing skills.
