Description: Reed Architectural Group is a small, design-focused architecture firm based in Venice, CA, specializing in high-density work throughout Los Angeles. We are seeking a Project Architect with 7–10 years of relevant experience to join our collaborative, fast-paced team.Our work focuses on multi-family residential, mixed-use (50-250 units), and retail/commercial projects, and this role offers involvement in all phases of a project – from concept design through construction administration.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and eager to grow professionally within an experienced team.Key Responsibilities:

• Work on all project phases, including schematic design, design development, construction documents, and permit processing.
• Prepare full construction document set.
• Able to prepare project specific details and wall sections.
• Coordinate with consultants and city agencies across multiple projects at varying stages of development.
• Ability to work independently while also excelling in team collaboration and leadership.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (minimum).
• 7–10 years of architectural design and construction documentation experience.
• At least 3 years of experience on multi-family and mixed-use projects.
• Strong organization and communication skills, attention to detail, and self-management.
• Basic knowledge of the California Building Code and Los Angeles Municipal Code standards, design, and detailing in Type V and Type III construction.
• Architectural licensure path preferred.

Software:

• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD (required)
• Bluebeam
• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, Teams)
• 3D modeling/rendering (e.g. SketchUp and Rhino)
