The firm values dependability, collaboration, and consistently ranks as one of the top workplaces in the area according to independent research.Description:This position involves providing support to lawyers in various aspects of commercial and industrial real estate deals. Duties include reviewing due diligence paperwork, managing title and survey issues, creating organizational documents, and facilitating property closings. The successful candidate will oversee complex real estate transactions from start to finish, including drafting contracts, reviewing titles/surveys, coordinating payments, and recording documents. Working closely with lawyers, lenders, and clients, you will play a key role in overseeing transactions from beginning to end. This role is suitable for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced legal environment and handling a large volume of intricate tasks with precision and independence.Qualifications:

  • Minimum of an Associate’s degree or a Paralegal certification, or equivalent bachelor’s degree.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a real estate paralegal in a legal or corporate setting
  • Adept at analyzing and summarizing title reports, surveys, and zoning documents.
  • Proficient in creating entities, drafting documents, and maintaining transaction checklists.
  • Experience in managing escrow closings and preparing closing binders
  • Strong communication skills; comfortable coordinating with external counsel and vendors.

Preferred:

  • Advanced skills in MS Office Suite and other PDF software like Kofax or Adobe.
  • Preference for being a Notary Public or ability to obtain certification.
  • Knowledge of corporate paperwork, including filing SS-4 forms, EINs, certifications.
  • Proficient in electronic document management, with good time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced transaction deadlines and overtime requirements
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and a strong team player.
