Description: Kforce has a client that is seeking a remote RH Ansible Automation Platform Senior Consultant for a contract role. The duration of this role is 1560 hours (approx. 9 months full-time equivalent). Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform Senior Consultant to lead enterprise automation initiatives. This role is fully remote and offers the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize automation solutions across hybrid cloud environments. Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, implement, and maintain automation solutions using Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP)
• Develop and manage Ansible playbooks, roles, and modules to support infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment
• Collaborate with DevOps, infrastructure, and application teams to identify automation opportunities and deliver scalable solutions
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to internal teams and stakeholders
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation workflows and platform performance
• Ensure adherence to best practices in security, compliance, and documentation

Work Environment:

• 100% remote

• 5+ years of experience in IT automation, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions
• Deep expertise in Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, including Ansible Tower/AAP
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong scripting skills (YAML, Python, Bash)
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation or equivalent certification
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Background in consulting or professional services engagements

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
