Description: Mackenzie Stuart is working on behalf of a global leader in the packaging machinery and processing industry. They are currently looking for a Director of Sales to lead their North American Sales efforts into the multi-application market.Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a sales strategy for the North American market to achieve company revenue goals in the plastic extrusion market.
• Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing sales team.
• Source new business opportunities across key verticals including pipe & profile, fiber, and custom extrusion.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Work closely with Engineering, Product Development, and Marketing to align offerings with customer needs and industry trends.
• Oversee complex capital equipment sales cycles-from lead generation through proposal, negotiation, and post-sale support.
• Manage pricing strategies, margin targets, and contract terms in alignment with company objectives.
• Analyze market dynamics, customer data, and competitor activity to guide decision-making and strategy.
• Represent the company at major trade shows, technical conferences, and industry associations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business or a related field.
• 5+ years in of sales leadership experience in capital equipment.
• Demonstrated success in managing long, consultative sales cycles and closing multi-million-dollar deals.
• Strong analytical, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and international up to 60%.
