Description: Bandera ISD is searching for a fun, calm, and attentive School Bus Monitor to join the BISD Transportation Team for the 2025-2026 school year.
Bandera ISD is a 4-Day Instructional District (Monday – Thursday)
Start Date: Subject to change as per BISD Transportation training requirements
First Day of School: August 4, 2025
Last Day of School: May 21, 2026Job Description:
The BISD Bus Monitor will ride the designated school bus to assist the Bus Driver with supervision of students, and if applicable, assist in the loading and unloading of students with special needs.Job Requirements:
– Must be able to pass a Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Background and Fingerprinting Check
– Must participate in Required BISD Bus Monitor Training
– Must be able to commit to two routes per day (AM/PM)
– Must possess the ability to communicate verbally, and in writing, in English
– Must have the ability to stand, walk, squat, sit, and lift more than 40 pounds (if applicable) without assistance
