ShiftMonday – Friday mainly 8:00 am-5:00 pm; and with occasional night and weekend.
Job SummaryThe laboratories of Drs. Dave Feola and Vince Venditto are seeking a Scientist II.The Scientist will independently design experimental protocols and perform scientific experiments in immune modulation, liposomal drug delivery, and vaccine development as well as contribute to the development of scientific theories and measurable outcomes by contributing to scientific theories and hypotheses designs and planning new research projects. They will design and implement experimental protocols for in-vivo liposomal drug delivery in mice, in-vitro assays, and ex-vivo mouse and human tissue analysis.Candidate will perform experiments focusing on elucidating immune cell function in mouse models. Duties including working with liposomal formulation development, in-vivo liposomal drug delivery modelling, in-vitro assessment of immune cell proliferation/function and differentiation, cell culture, flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, cell sorting, quantitative real time PCR, functional cellular assays, chemokine/cytokine assays, in-vivo imaging, confocal microscopy, western blotting and cell sorting.The Scientist will also use scientific tools and methods to monitor and provide initial analysis of results of scientific experiments, compile results of experiments, and integrate results with other reports in the scientific literature.
