Description: Closing Date: February 25th, 2025, at 9:00 PM (PST)Position: Sr. Art Program LeaderDepartment: Parks, Arts, Recreation, and Community Services – Arts & MuseumsHourly Range: $22.04 – $25.51Classification: TemporaryFLSA: Non-Exempt – Overtime EligibleJob Summary:Under general supervision, the Sr. Art Program Leader assists in developing and managing the Lancaster Museum of Art and History’s facility rental and events program. This role supports daily operations, provides customer support during private and public events, maintains museum spaces, and ensures adherence to policies and procedures. This position reports to the Arts and Museum Coordinator.Supervisory Responsibilities:

Example of Duties & Responsibilities:Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Collaborate closely with museum operations to support daily tasks and achieve short-term goals for the facility rentals team.
  • Conduct rental walkthroughs and tours of arts and museum facilities for current and prospective clients.
  • Be knowledgeable of rental facilities policies and procedures.
  • Check availability and book facility rentals and events for both internal and external clients.
  • Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external clients.
  • Assist the Sr. Technical Assistant with managing their team’s regular schedule and covering shifts when needed.
  • Monitor team progress, ensure smooth and efficient workflows, report issues to the Sr. Technical Assistant
  • Track the progress of team-based projects, making regular updates and keeping project statuses current.
  • Act as the first link in their teams’ chain of command, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assign tasks and deploy individual team members appropriately.
  • May serve as the primary liaison and point of contact between the public and team, as needed.
