Description: Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a talented Senior Database Developer/Modeler

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain systems to store, organize, and access data.
• Perform computer programming, software engineering, and data architecture and management.
• Analyze an organization’s data management, input, and security needs.
• Design tools that support data access and information security.
• Develop Structured Query Language (SQL) databases for a wide variety of applications and business uses.
• Write and optimize SQL statements for data access and retention.
• Perform regular database management duties, including backups an audits to ensure that SQL databases remain accessible, secure, and stable.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Experience with SQL Server 2014/2016/2019, SQL Server Data Tools, and Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services.
• Experience with Power BI.
