Description:The Senior Manager, Government Contract Compliance must exercise judgment and possess strong problem-solving skills in performing his/her duties while complying with established policies and procedures.Akima is seeking a Senior Manager, Government Contract Compliance to join our Government Contract Accounting Compliance team on a hybrid basis at our headquarters in Herndon, VA. This position reports to the Akima, LLC Director of Government Contract Accounting Compliance and has responsibility for ensuring compliance of Akima, LLC’s accounting and estimating systems with FAR and DFARS cost principles and applicable cost accounting standards (CAS). This role collaborates with internal and external clients to analyze costs, review costs for allowability, prepare financial reports and as required, provide ad-hoc support, analysis, and trainings Responsibilities:
