Description: We are searching for a Senior Solutions Architect with a strong background in Point of Sale (POS) systems and payment processing. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative architectural solutions that drive business objectives and enhance customer experiences related to POS and payment systems.As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders, developers, and project managers to deliver scalable and high-performance solutions. Your expertise will guide the technical direction of projects, ensuring that solutions are not only effective but also aligned with industry standards and best practices.Responsibilities:

• Design comprehensive solution architectures for POS and payment processing systems.
• Collaborate with various teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Lead architecture reviews and provide guidance on best practices and technologies.
• Identify integration points between various systems and define strategies for seamless interoperation.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving best practices to ensure solutions remain competitive and effective.
• Provide thought leadership and mentorship to less experienced team members, promoting knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect, specifically in POS and payment systems.
• Deep understanding of payment processing technologies, protocols, and compliance standards.
• Expert in integration methods and technologies, including APIs and data exchange protocols.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate and design complex systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in Agile development environments is a plus.
