Description: Job SummaryThe Digital Marketing Analyst, Social Media Marketing Coordinator provides support for social marketing daily activities and initiatives within Synovus. This role supports the Sr. Digital Marketing Manager, Social to help manage and facilitate all social marketing and monitoring for Synovus. This individual will be responsible for making sure project timelines are met for large and small social marketing projects. This person may also manage the day to day activity with content posts and campaigns being run in additional to community management and advocacy planning. Additionally, this role will be assisting in social reporting on a weekly or monthly basis, providing insights and analysis back to Sr. Digital Marketing Manager, Social for interpretation and impact to lines of business and internal partners.Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Social Campaign Planning – Management – Works with Sr. Manager to develop and assess varying social media strategies alongside integrated marketing strategies, defining target audiences, and lead campaign execution internally or with agency. Additionally, this individual will work with other team members to pull performance reporting and optimize campaigns on the fly
  • Employee Advocacy Program Support – Mangement – In this role, you may work directly on employee advocacy programs and education. This may include onboarding, training, reporting, asset management and communication to partners throughout the bank during planning and implementation of the pilot program.
  • Project Management – Task Completion – Schedules meetings, takes comprehensive notes and publishes conference reports. Creates and maintains detailed project timelines for digital initiatives. Tracks progress of agency and Synovus milestones and deliverables against project timelines. Reviews social and/or web content and coordinates feedback and approval processes. Gathers and refines project objectives and requirements; completes project initiation forms
  • Publishing – Content Calendar – Create and maintain Content Calendars, including writing Facebook Status Updates. Post relevant content in accordance with Content Calendar Moderation. May advise in overall social content strategy in tandem with marketing content team and the website.
  • Community Management – Review user generated comments and posts in a quick and timely manner. Respond to comments, when appropriate, in order to foster a positive community and add value to the user’s experience. Enforce the Social Media Guidelines as defined by the brand. Escalate User Generated Content, where appropriate, to internal and client stakeholders.
  • Social Listening, Reporting – Analysis – Pulls reporting associated with social channels, campaign performance, or paid ad channel performance. Uses monitoring tools to asses social reputation and develop strategies to improve socal presence and engage communiities. Compiles reporting and provides detailed analysis looking at performance benchmarks across channels. Works in tandem with other team members to test and optimize campaigns based on report findings.
  • Creative Input & Testing – Reviews all content and design for Synovus social channels, ads, and postings. Participates in QA testing and user acceptance testing. Assists with troubleshooting errors. May be asked to proofread non-digital materials from time to time. Maintains final copies of creative and lists (where applicable) for audit purposes.
  • Risk Assessment – Compliance – Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion
  • Cross-Training for Digital Marketing – Team member will support and be cross trained on other channels and functions within the digital marketing team as needed and bandwidth require.
  • Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

  • Bachelor’s degree Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum experience:

  • 2 years of marketing experience with a focus in social marketing, program and community management, employee advocacy, social selling or digital marketing

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Experience working in native social platforms through community management, organic posting, paid ad support, reporting and other functions. Experience in social media listening tools, dashboards and platforms a plus (Sprout, Sprinklr, HootSuite, Meltwater, Sendible, etc.)
  • Experience in employee advocacy or social selling a plus.
  • Must have the ability and desire to occasionally travel or work evenings and/or weekends a require by business needs for social media coverage; also to participate in an on-call rotation with other teammates as needed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point)
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking, calendar management, deliverable tracking, review and approval organization and self-guided time management.
  • Excellent communication skills with basic proficiency in copywriting and editing based on brand guides and AP style.
  • Advanced interpersonal skills with focus on long-term relationship-building with stakeholders and other members of the marketing team.
  • Proficiency in social media data interpretation or desire to learn
  • A self-declared techie who can’t wait to get the newest gadget or try the newest social media platform
  • Analytical thinking skills and creative problem solver; enjoys learning new things and does not see uncharted territory as a blocker to progress.
  • Impeccable attention to detail. This may be reflected in editing skills, ability to adhere to brand standards, comprehensive asset review and feedback communications, etc.
  • Experience creating digital assets a plus with experience using creative platforms like Canva, Photoshop, Adobe, etc.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Experience with social publishing and listening tools. Sprout Social experience is a plus. Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience is a plus.
  • Experience working in financial services or banking is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree with a marketing focus
  • Experience with Sitecore or another leading content management system
  • Experience with Google Analytics or other analtyics platforms
