Extensive experience creating content, monitoring, and moderating social media sites for an organization or brand. Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices of graphic design and content creation. Extensive knowledge of business English grammar, spelling, punctuation, and mathematical computation. Ability to anticipate work to be completed and complete work without the need for direct supervision. Ability to demonstrate proper maintenance, safe operation, and utilization of equipment, materials, and supplies used in daily activities.Work Experience: At least one year of experience posting branded content for a company or organization.PRIMARY DUTY:This position is responsible for monitoring, moderating, producing, and scheduling content for the Richmond County School System’s social media sites, adding and updating content, and creating new pages and websites.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participates in all professional meetings and training sessions as required.Establishes and maintains positive communication with school system employees and the media.The employee shall carry out such other and further duties, whether specifically listed above or not, as are assigned or required by such employee’s supervisor, other appropriate school personnel, law board policy administrative regulation, department handbook, as are reasonably necessary to the efficient operation of the school system and its mission.WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The work environment characteristics are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
