Description: Our R&D team is on the search for a Software Developer that will work on our Esker on Demand order to cash solutions. They will contribute to company and product success by developing, updating and improving code as we look to support and enhance our offerings. They will use software engineering principles to design, analyze and test new code, while maintaining deep knowledge of Esker software practices.Key Tasks/Duties:

• Contribute to a high-functioning team within an agile framework.
• Develop code using selected languages, frameworks, and structure – languages are primarily TypeScript, JavaScript and C#.
• Demonstrate progress in development work and code review.
• Discuss and coordinate development approaches.
• Document new code development to improve team productivity and understanding.
• Utilize documented processes and solutions.
• Review team members’ code to maximize accuracy, efficiency, and quality.
• Present outcome of completed work to other stakeholders within the company.
• Investigate reported errors and problems, escalating appropriately.
• Create innovative solutions to new issues.
• Improve understanding of the technologies in use to expand the projects and tasks handled.
• Pro-actively share knowledge and experience.
• Foster a psychologically safe environment that encourages feedback and new ideas.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Essential Experience:

• 2+ years of professional experience developing software in a production environment
• Experience developing web software as part of a team
• Experience using relational databases and SQL
• Comfort with Unix/Linux command-line tools
• UI/UX experience is a plus
• SAP experience is a plus
