  • Work in a team environment to develop front-end components for the management, manipulation, and display of raster and imagery data in web applications
  • Support and build software that follows industry-standard design patterns, development methodologies, and deployment models
  • Ensure software meets accessibility, internationalization, and localization requirements
  • Collaborate with other programmers and developers across teams throughout the development process
  • Coordinate with product engineers on improving the quality of the software, and addressing defects and other performance challenges
  • Work effectively in an Agile Scrum team environment

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience with web technologies such as JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, CSS, and RESTful web services
  • Strong JavaScript/TypeScript development skills, including concepts like asynchronous programming, closures, and types
  • Experience with HTML/CSS, including concepts like layout, specificity, cross browser compatibility, and accessibility
  • Ability to analyze software/algorithms and identify improvements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with frequent releases and tight schedules
  • Excellent communication skills and the desire to work with a diverse team
  • Bachelor’s in computer science, engineering, or mathematics

Recommended Qualifications

  • Experience writing testable software
  • Experience with accessibility and internationalization
  • Familiarity with Esri’s ArcGIS JS-API and ArcGIS products is a plus
