SJ Technologies is seeking to fill a Software Developer II position for one of our federal customers. SJ Technologies is headquartered in Sugar Hill, Georgia, with multiple offices & remote team members across the US. • Job Title: Software Developer II
• Location: Remote (May need to travel for on-site work as needed)
• Schedule: Full-time
• Clearance: Top Secret

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop software applications based on project requirements.
• Write clean, efficient code in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to align on project goals.
• Conduct code reviews, perform unit testing, and maintain version control using Git.
• Troubleshoot and optimize deployed applications for performance and reliability.
• Stay updated with industry trends and continuously enhance technical skills.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 4-6 years of progressive experience in software development.
• Top Secret Clearance.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, C++, or other relevant programming languages.
• Experience with databases, version control systems (e.g., Git), and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional certifications or training in advanced software development.
• Experience in cloud computing, DevOps, or cybersecurity.
