The ideal candidate will have expertise in healthcare IT, system architecture, and integration technologies, with hands-on experience in HL7 standards, SQL, XML, and Rhapsody Integration Engine.You’ll be responsible for (Responsibilities):

  • Design and implement healthcare integration solutions
  • Lead system architecture, code review, and development efforts
  • Develop and maintain applications, interfaces, and data exchanges
  • Ensure data integrity, compliance with SEM and SUITE, and security
  • Mentor developers and oversee technical implementation
  • Work closely with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Technology, Management, and Budget cross-matrix teams
  • Support vendor management for Rhapsody licensing and software
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, disaster recovery plans, incident response plans, and technical exception requests

Required Skills with a Minimum of Seven Years Experience:

  • Healthcare IT and Interoperability including HL7 version Two X messaging, HL7 FHIR, and CDA standards
  • Healthcare vocabularies including LOINC, SNOMED, and RxNorm
  • Health Information Exchange and Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise frameworks
  • Implementing healthcare IT standards and integration guides
  • Technical skills including JavaScript, SQL, and XML
  • Experience with web services including SOAP, REST, OAuth, TCP, and LLP
  • Security and encryption including TLS and mutual authentication via certificates
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required

Preferred Skills with a Minimum of Five Years Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with Orion Health Rhapsody Integration Engine version Seven X
  • Developing custom filters and mappers using Rhapsody Developer Kit
  • Message transformation across different formats including JSON, XML, and HL7

You’ll have (Qualification & Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field is required.
