Description: Solutions Architect
In this role you will play a critical part in driving technical strategy and innovation during the sales process. Acting as the primary technical advisor, you’ll work side-by-side with Account Executives to deliver tailored solutions that meet and exceed customer needs.You’ll be responsible for project assessments, system design recommendations, and providing technical documentation that supports robust and secure installations. Occasional travel may be required for site visits and client consultations.RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze project plans, specifications, and site requirements to define project scope
• Prepare project estimates and quotes using estimation software
• Complete customer RFIs and RFPs
• Articulate the value proposition of the company’s products and services
• Review shop drawings and wiring diagrams for completeness and accuracy
• Recommend products for installation, highlighting those with long lead times
• Create formal submittal packages with schematics and technical literature
• Collaborate with sales to develop tailored implementation plans
• Drive incremental new business opportunities within assigned territory
• Support ongoing colleague and team development through recruitment programs
• Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

This is a direct-hire opportunity with a competitive compensation package and growth potential. The role is ideally based in-office five days a week, but hybrid schedules are available.REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 1-3 years in sales engineering, estimating, or equivalent experience
• Basic understanding of engineering principles related to building automation, fire alarm, or electronic security systems
• Knowledge of security and automation system hardware/software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• College degree, trade school, or equivalent experience

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience with CAD, Bluebeam, or other design software
• Prior experience supporting large-scale technology sales processes
